Skiing is most visible to the public during the Winter Olympic Games where it is a major sport. The term “skiing” commonly refers to alpine skiing where one visits a ski resort, purchases a lift ticket, and dons cold-weather clothing, ski booths, ski and often ski poles. It embarks on a chairlift, gondola lift, or other means of mechanical uphill transport. However, skiing techniques are difficult to master so there are ski training master’s programs that teach and train from basics of turning and stopping safely to more advanced carving, racing, mogul or bump skiing and newer techniques. NASC summer camp is the most popular program that train athletes. With their best and well-skilled coaches, the training program is more fun and would be the best experience during winter.
