START TODAY

Many people make resolutions on New Year's that the next year of life will be different.  We wanted to change our (bad) habits and to develop new patterns.  Resolutions like these are highly commendable as a stimulus to both spiritual and personal growth.  But not always.  Sometimes our resolutions are carried out only for a little while and all too soon are forgotten.

I started some of my resolutions for the New Year as early as October this year.  It is good to engage now and then in self-examination.  We should face up to the changes that need to be made, and then make plans for how we're going to implement them.  Today is a good day to start.  Never wait the New Year.
