FSO- PLAZA

Spanish colonial rule brought Catholicism in the Philippines. Almost Filipinos use Spanish surnames. Not only that, we Filipinos adapted some Spanish words. Plaza is one of the Spanish terms we adapted and there’s actually a plaza in every town/district/city here in the Philippines.

I am so honored that I am the host this week's in FSO's theme "PLAZA".

This is the main city plaza in Iloilo. It is called Plaza Libertad

This is the District plaza of beautiful flowers.

This is the Caza Plaza where protest and rally happens.

Guimbal Plaza is the most clean plaza in Western Visayas

The plaza of San Joaquin

And this is my hometown plaza

Come with me, we will check the plaza of other countries.

Wow! Now I can see what plazas are really all about. They look to be a terrific asset to your towns.

I hope your protests marches are as peaceful as ours.

Do you celebrate lunar new year in the Philipines?

Wonderful post. And it was a great theme...I'm just sorry I missed it.

Talking about Spanish, I was just trying to learn new Spanish words last Friday night. It's much fun. Made me realize we're using too much Spanish words these days (which we think are influenced by the others or are actually very Tagalog).
