OUR SADSAD FALLS EXPERIENCE

Before I continue our journey last Christmas 2009, I would like to introduce our Guimaras tour guide, RICHARD CARO. He is awarded as the best tour guide by Department of Tourism, Guimaras chapter.

The best word to describe him is trustworthy

He is fun to be with.

He accommodated us sobra. Sa uulitin ('till next time Chard)

We left Tatlong Pulo with smile on our face. Medyo may pa-push pa ng tricycle para makaakyat sa mataas na bahagi na kalsada. According to Socsy, it was her first time to be in Tatlong Pulo even she is a native of Guimaras or simply a Guimarasnon.

We experienced snow-dust. Lol.

My friends were dead-tired and that's Albert sleeping and bout to lean on Socsy's shoulder. I sat on the backseat alone.

Sadsad falls is approximately a kilometer away from the Jordan-Nueva Valencia highway, a short distance after the Trappist Monastery. Vehicles can only get halfway, and you have to leave it at the roadside, and walk the rest of the way.
We started walking our way to the waterfalls

Surrounding area is further cooled and shaded by towering trees, vines and foliage.

The waterfalls is about 150ft drop of cool, clean crystal water zigzagging among and under rocks
There they started swimming. Dive!
The waterfalls is like deep-wheel round shape. You have to pass in the center in order to reach and be under the running to feel coldness of the waterfalls. The twig will be the guide material or means to reach the other side.
The problem is I really don't know how to swim. Sabi ni Richard, kelangan ko raw ma-experience ang lamig ng waterfalls para maging complete yung moment ko sa waterfalls. Kahit ano pa mangyari hindi ako tatawid, malulunod ako!

pero ayan ako, nakikiligo under the waterfalls. Richard guided me to pass the deep part para makapunta sa kabilang pampang. I can't forget what he said. Ilagay mo yung dalawa mong kamay sa balikat ko tapos mag-relax ka lang. Tada! Nag-enjoy ako sa hampas ng malakas na tubig sa katawan ko parang body massage nga. That's Albert in trunks (hindi ako 'yan).
It's Albert's first time sa waterfalls. Ang nagpo-problema sa pag-akyat ay si Socsy. Ha-ha. Look, hinihingal na siya.

Pero, nakaakyat pa rin kahit sobrang pawisan, naliligo sa sariling pawis. Tinatawan ko pa. Nagpahinga muna kaming dalawa and she even managed to take a photo of me. Sanay na ako sa mountain-climbing eh.
Oh ayan, emote!

This is our last photo for the nature's trip. I can't forget the memorable experience. You can experience it too.

Lastly, I want to share Richard Caro's breath-taking dive

If you have a chance to visit Guimaras, just contact Richard Caro. His mobile number is +639166621381. Or you can email him at richard-caro@hotmail.com. Check his blog http://tourguimaras.blogspot.com. His service as a tour guide is worth the island experience.

Thanks for the great experience Chard! 'Till next time. I want to explore the beaches in Sibunag area such as Nagarao Island, Us-usan island, Costa Aguada and more.
