BUENAVSTA GUIMARAS ROAD TRIP

Buenavista is the oldest municipality in Guimaras tht established in 1775 during Spanish period. It is located at the northern tip of Guimaras Island.

The McArthur wharf serves as the municipal wharf for Buenavista and part of San Lorenzo is used by passengers form the neighboring Panay Island in going to Negros Province and vice versa. This transportation route serves as a cheaper link, rather than taking a ship.

We're on our way to the beach.

Fish for lunch

Saw this crab on the seashore.

You can go by walking to this islet when low tide.

We were on our way to our officemate's house.

welcome!

View from the attic. Namimitas sila ng kalamsi.

The mountain view.

The ocean view from afar.

The cashew tree.

The cashew fruit.

Oh yeah! Got one.

I thought it's the way to heaven.

The atmosphere turned gloomy.

We were hurry to go back to home. It's over-speeding.

Here we arrived in the wharf again. It's my second time to visit Buenavista. The first time was way back early 2000.

Very, very interesting. I especially liked the road to heaven. How do you prepare the fish for lunch? Did you grill them? Do you catch them? If you do grill them, do you leave the scales and head on them until it's time to eat them?
