HELP HAND IN HAND

The global environment is changing dramatically each day. As a response to its changes, what would you like to change in yourself that will make you a PRO environment person?

That's the final question in Miss Earth Philippines' coronation night. Miss Sandra Seifert, a 25 year old registered nurse deserved the title. Congratulations! There's a reason why she disqualified in Bb. Pilipinas pageant. There's a purpose for everything. And the crown for Miss Earth Philippines is really for her.

What a coincidence. The art paper I created for this week's art challenge in Mixed Media Monday is the same purpose with the said pageant. I am trying to show the weather's changeable condition nowadays. It's summer here in the Philippines but it rains in the late afternoon. The black background represent the nimbus. The overall boy and the sunbonnet girl are in a hurry to go home. You may ask why is it they wear the wrong outfit for summer season. Join me to know about it.

The sunbonnet girl: "OMG! I can't understand the weather condition lately. It's summer but it's about to rain. What's happening to the world now? I prefer to wear this covered body long dress even I'm sweating rather than expose my alabaster skin directly to the sun. Its heat makes me feeling hot and aching. I don't want to have skin cancer."

The overall boy: "I even can't understand why I am carrying your bag. I never imagine myself doing this. It's out of being a gentleman (saying it in his mind or else he will be turned down)."

And Miss Victorias City appeared on the scene.

Miss Victorias City: "You know what, you could change yourself to be more disciplined, more aware and more creative to solve this problem. "

ME: Yes, the mother Earth needs a helping hand. SAVE her. Let's plant more trees and apply the reduce, reuse and recycle method."
