THE CONFESSION OF A GAY FATHER

"Kapag gusto mo, may paraan.
Kapag ayaw mo, may dahilan."
- this is the line I quoted from I love Betty La Fea's episode last week.

You know it is hard to admit to your father that you are gay. But I realized it is harder to tell your son that his father is a gay.

Hiding my identity was one of the difficult stages in my life. I learned to accept myself then.
But I just realized it is more difficult to hide the reality to your son.

I want my son back.
But I am afraid to tell the fact.

If you discovered that your father is a gay, what will be your reaction?

If you happened to be a gay would you introduce yourself to your child?

i think that if he learns early in his life he will have time to adjust and live at ease with the truth or not adjust at all cause he will grow up knowing th truth all along. it really depends on you. i wish you all the best

so hindi pa alam ng anak mo? hmmm. mahirap nga yan. though i agree with princess dyanie. just be honest with your kid while he's still young. i think you should also consult your family and friends. i wish you all well. :)

This is so true... Kalimitan yang quote na yan ang nagseset ng mga maling expecttaions naten kaya tayo madalas mabigo!

May anak ka pala Kuya Red, I didn't know that. Hmmmm, sa mundo ngayon kasi dapat open minded tayong lahat. Ipaintindi mo lang skanya as early as possible. I know that it wouldn't be easy pero just think na it's gonna be more difficult kapag huli na...

kaya u yan! :)

red, accept the fact that it is so, and tell your son about the truth, whatever it is, he will understand. It is not about the preferred gender, it is always about the personality and the love and care you give him.

baw kabudlay sang pamangkot... sometimes, hapos lang maghambal nga the truth will set your free... Actually may sugpon na siya, the truth will set your free but at first it will make you miserable... :)

The Lord will lead you and will enlighten you... Ask Him... :)

Will pray for you...
