GOTHIC SCENE

I have a friend who of gothic rock and a follower of some bands such The Sisters of Mercy, The Bolshoi, Fields of the Nephilim, etc. Bands with an earlier Goth sound like Cinema Strange, Bloody Dead and Sexy, Black Ice, and Antiworld are becoming very popular. Today, the Goth music scene thrives in Western Europe particularly in Poland with Castle Festival but especially in Germany with large festivals such as Wave-Gotik Treffen, M’era Luna and others drawing tens of thousands of fans from all over the world and that’s include my friend of course! Actually, the original Goths were an Eastern Germanic tribe who played important role in the fall of the Western Roman Empire.

Nowadays, you can find Goths anywhere around the world. Most recently, there’s Chamber’s Dark Art & Music Festival in North America. There are Goth Chat Rooms too as we are now in the modern world.
