SIX-POINTED STAR

The six-pointed star is one of the simplest and most attractive of all folded decorations. It uses the most basic folding techniques. Make several stars, in an array of bright colors, and hang from the Christmas tree for extra sparkle.

Use a square of paper of any weight or size. The best paper to use for this decoration is paperbacked metallic foil, which reflects the light and will make the star stand out against the dark foliage of a natural Christmas tree.

click the image to see a larger view of the instructions written on it.

For origami beginners like me, you can check my post about how to make a perfect square. The kind of paper I used here is not the paperbacked metallic foil. You can check my post of the six-pointed star art.
