ALL ABOUT WEDDING

Have you ever wondered what the first wedding ceremony was like? Do you know where the old saying, "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" comes from? Have you ever wondered why certain things are almost done at wedding? Why the bride carries a bouquet or wears a veil? Everything has a reason. Every part of a wedding has rich history Cultural roots, ancestry, and religious beliefs have shaped marriages for thousands of years.

The more you know about wedding customs, the easier it is to pick and choose the ones that mean the most, thereby giving you a unique ceremony. Besides, the more you know, the more amused you will be during the ceremonies you sit through as a guest.

I want to share with you a brief history of various wedding elements, several rituals that are commonly observed in many modern weddings and the origins and symbolic meanings.

Thanks to my best friend Marigold who allowed me to post some of her wedding photos.

yeah... i try to keep a lot of things. certain things make us not forget--the very purpose of memories, no matter how goodor bad they are.

sinunog mo yung mga letters? better destroy them than return them back in my opinion. hehe!

wow... marriage and weddings. i am fond of attending such traditional ceremonies. makes me believe that there's as true as true love. :)
