The Mistake: Q & A Portion

Am sure you already knew what happened to Lauren Caitlin Upton- Miss South Carolina Teen USA 2007 during the interview portion. Maybe I am the last one to post about it but lemme share the lesson I learned from it. I first read the post about it sa blog ni reJOICE with matching video dated September 1, 2007. I can't understand her answer clearly. However, Poli is so nice to share the transcript and he even posted it sa video file niya sa multiply.

The transcript: (Just copied and pasted from Poli's multiply.)

"I, personally, believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps. And, uh, I believe that our education like, such as, in South Africa and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere, like, such as. And, I believe that they should... our education over here, in the U.S., should help the U.S., or, or, should help South Africa. It should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future... for our children."

Mrs. T has a funny version. And I laughed watching it.

Being the true Hari, Mark Xander shared his real view regarding the mental block tragedy during beauty pageant's Q&A. And I agreed with him since I admired him for being optimistic and competitive but a down to earth celebrity.

"DON'T JUDGE ME, AM NOT A BOOK"- Melanie Marquez- Miss International.

Speaking of Q&A portion, I want to share this interview. STEVE told me and it happened during the Hasa pageant of U.P. Don't take it seriously.

Question: What is the biggest problem that our country is facing nowadays?

Answer: The biggest problem that the Philippines is facing nowadays is that Filipinos are horny. Because being horny leads to overpopulation, overpopulation leads to unemployment, and unemployment leads to poverty. So all I can say is stop being a maniac.

thanks for posting the trascript.. yes, i do understand that she may have had mental block during the interview.. it happens.. nagkataon lang that the poor girl was caught in the spotlight.. but at least, she admitted her fault during the next interview.. i admire her for that..

:)

Ok @ Mark. that's why I admired you for being down to earth.

u r not guilty!

sorry for the late response:

yes i admit. i also make mistakes pero inaamin ko un at tinatanggap ko whatever the consequence it may bring for it was my decision who brought me there..diba?

there's no sense of arguing kung alam mong ikaw ang mali. we cannot just justify certain facts na ndi naman natin kayang panghawakan at the mere end of the conversation. Kaya if i were those people out there na maxadong arrogant, magpapakumbaba na ako.

Thanks for the acknowledgment redlan ;) im loving ur posts everyday.
