There are things we don't want to happen but we have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn and people whom we can't live without but have to let go. To let go of someone doesn't mean you have to stop loving, it only means that you allow that person to find his own happiness without expecting him to come back. Letting go is not setting the other person free but it also setting yourself free from all bitterness, hatred, and anger that you keep in your heart. As you remove the thorns of resentment, weeds of lust, and roots of bitterness, you can replace them with fruit of the spirits- love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. God wants you to water the seed He's planted in your heart.
