I became a city boy when I was about to enter high school. Everything changed then. I forgot about the simple life. I even forget to visit my love ones in the province. I graduated in college and I have a job. City life keeps me busy always. I even have no time for myself until I realized I missed the province... everything back home.
I missed the view of rice field, valley and hill.
I wanted to be one the grasses dancing with the tune of the wind. They live freely!
I missed to ride on the carabao cart
I wanted to be a flower to adore and love.
I missed to watch the Mt. Napulak( located in Miag-ao. It is called Mt. Napulak because of the coconut shell shaped on its top. You can see the larger by clicking the image) from a distance.
I missed to glance the mainland going back to the city.
These are the simple things I always miss back in the province. I can say, I am always a hamlet boy at heart.

i'm sure you are thankful for having to enjoy both worlds -- the province and city life. not everyone has this opportunity.
ako man i miss the smell of sugarcane and the buzzing of voices in my grandfather's house. wala na sya so tanan memories na lang.
Whew! Napulak, Mt.
I enjoy the city life but I love the life in the province @ IFM. Sarap balik-balkian ang mga childhood memories natin no?
Mas maganda kaya ang buhay mo dyan @ RJ. Ibang atmosphere. Maganda mag reminisce no?
i too miss that. though i really didnt grow up in the farm but we get to visit our uncle's farm at least twice a month.
kakamiss nga ang ganung buhay. simpleng simple.
Ako din. Miss ko na din sa probinsya. :| First time kong hindi magpasko sa province after sooooo many years. Iba talaga kapag madaming nakikita na puno at bulaklak. Maaliwalas at magaan sa pakiramdam. :)
Masarap mag nature healing.
pareho pala us na probinsyano---masarap na isispin na me fallback ka if you want to escape from the busyness and filth of the city. I used to curse my place before---but now I long for it.....good thing I have all the sweet memories to cling to~~~
I prefer the simple life because city life is suffocating.:)
Saan ka sa Iloilo? :)

I always miss and love province then.
Na realize ko na yan @ mel.
Haha @ KJ. Gani namiss ko manguwa damang.
