Animals come in many different sizes from big to really tiny. They also have mouth parts because they eat different kind of foods. Mouth is highly discriminative and the tongue extraordinary versatile.

Some say that humans are animals absolutely. However, humans differ from other animals in terms of intelligence. But some don’t agree. They contradict the belief. For them, animals are just animals and humans are not animals. Therefore, whether humans are animals or not, it depends on which definition you use. I can say we are like animals. At our basic level we reach much in the same way as animals do. And animals are like humans. They have instincts to remind them to keep cool when it’s hot and seek shelter when it’s cold.

Have you ever told by someone that you are an animal? (Or animal ka in Filipino lingo) When I was just a kid, my old spinster sister always compared me (not even me but my nieces and nephews too) to animals. Like when I didn't want to take a bath, she told me I was like a goat.

If you are fat she called you a pig.

If you eat fast, she called you a pig.

If you are lazy, she called you a pig.

If you mess with mud, she called you a pig.

According to her, “Ang baboy bisan paliguan, pakan-on kag isulod mo sa tangkal, mangita gid paagi nga makabuhi kag mag-ungad sa lutak.” (Sorry for those who are not Hiligaynon speaking animal…. Err individual rather.)

PDA & MMK

Tonight's 6th Gala Performance was the best episode of Pinoy Dream Academy so far. I really enjoyed watching it. The trio performance of the scholars plus the duet performance of the two probationary scholars, Iñaki and Christian amazed me. The latter was expelled leaving the Academy in tears. The number of scholars in the academy is down to ten and they are the Headmaster's list of top ten scholars.













Liezel, Laarni and Bugoy- they are my bet scholars.

On the other hand, it was Charice Pempengco's life story in MMK tonight. I was able to watch MMK for two consecutive episodes since the time slot changed on Saturday night after PDA. Back then, my questions about the personal life of the singing sensation were already answered after I watched her story. "Never give up" is what I learned.

IT'S DONE

Thanks God It's Friday!( as the common saying goes). I was so stressful for last two days. The work deadline plus the personal attachments and gatherings occupied almost my time. Everything has its end they say again. Deadline's done.

Last Wednesday I was busy preparing for the VAT deadline. I was working all day. Socsy was waiting for me half an hour at SM. Thanks for her long patience. She was the one who find a special wedding gift for our common best friend, Renalie. I was in a panic mood and just remembered to send her a "thank you" sms message when I arrived home. I slept late at 12:10 am. I woke up @ 5:49 am yesterday. It was the most busy and stressful day of the whole week. I finished some works before going to the office. Work finished before I went back at home to prepare for the wedding ceremony @ 2:30 pm. Hopefully, I was not late. I was able to see my college best friend walked down the aisle. She looked so happy. The last scene was picture-takinginside the church then we went to the reception place. It was so embarrassing that I accidentally broke a wine glass(for the first time in my whole life) in the middle of our dinner. Some old folks said it was a good sign, some said it's a bad sign. Superstitious belief over faith that is. But I learned something from that incident. Sometimes you helped others but at the end, you're the one who get into trouble and it cause embarrassment. But i think I was clumsy that moment. The special event was successful. I went home so tired. And I continue struggling with life today.

It’s my big dream to visit European countries someday especially the city breaks in Prague. They say it is the most romantic fairy tale quality. REMARKABLE LINES IN BLOGSPHERE (my second special post)

I am addicted in watching teleserye (T.V. series). Pangako Sa’yo was the first tele series I watched and followed till the day it ended. Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay was the memorable one. In that teleserye I noticed Bea Alonzo as a great actress. She became new T.V. personality then. What I really like in T.V. series is its story twist and the switch of characters and most of all the remarkable or popular lines. I can still remember the line of Angelika dela Cruz in Bituin Na Walang Ningning, “YOU’RE A SECOND RATE TRYING HARD COPY CAT!” Actually it was the original line of Cherry Gil in the movie of the same title. On the other hand, one of the popular lines of Anne Curtis was “YES! I AM A SLUT. BUT I AM THE GREATEST SLUT IN TOWN!” in Maging Sino Ka Man- Book 1. There are more teleseryes to date. And the most controversial scene that teleserye fanatics are waiting for is the scene of Angelika Panganiban telling Claudine Barretto in Iisa Pa Lamang, "YOU’RE A GOLD-DIGGER IN RED!”

In blog world, there are popular lines too. It makes me laugh and some are really remarkable.

ABOUT MARRIAGE

I will attend the church wedding of my college best friend tomorrow at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon. I will not report to work tomorrow then. Later this afternoon, I will meet Socsy, our common friend to find a special wedding gift for Renalie.

Wedding is the most memorable moment in couple’s life. It needs a lot of preparations though such as the wedding gown, the church, the reception, the wedding invitation and more. The word wedding is derived from the Anglo-Saxon word “wed” which means that the groom would vow to marry the woman. Literally, the root of the word “wedding” means to gamble or wager. Have you ever wondered what the first wedding ceremony was like? And do you know where the old saying “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” comes from? Actually, every part of a wedding has rich history from the engagement to the honey moon. Cultural roots, ancestry, and religious beliefs have shaped marriages for thousand of years. The earliest weddings were very different from our idea of marriage today. Some historians believe that the first wedding marriages may have actually been group weddings- marriage to the tribe. Marriage is a union between one man and woman as husband and wife. In marriage, two hands joined in friendship, two hearts joined in love and two lives joined as a beautiful part of God’s eternal life. “I want a Better Marriage”, is every woman’s wish.

A marriage is often formalized during a wedding ceremony which may be performed usually by religious officiant. Speaking of religious officiant, there is a Pastor who serves the ability to teach God’s word in a powerful way allowing listeners of all ages to easily learn and apply the principles of the Bible to their daily lives. Just arrived home from out of town trip. It was not for fun but for work. I am working hard still. I am kinda tired already. But nothing I can do. It's my work and it is part of my life. I have no rest even on Sundays. I guess, I can rest only when I am not breathing anymore. Ha-ha.

I HAVE NOW AN IDEA WHAT TO BE MY SPECIAL WEDDING GIFT FOR MY COLLEGE BESTFRIEND

This coming Thursday afternoon will be the wedding day of my college best friend. I am still thinking of what a special wedding gift for her. Kitchen utensils will be a practical ideal gift to give according to my officemate. I thought of an oven toaster because I know she can’t always cook since both of them are working.

I am not good in cooking so I don’t have any idea what kind of oven to buy. I searched online and fortunately found some tips in buying oven toaster. I found out that convection toaster oven is one of a kind. It has built in fan that will blow the air around and over the food; it will cook food more quickly than a regular oven and it is cheaper! Now I have to check one to buy.

IT'S A BLESSING TO HAVE TRUE FRIENDS

I really believe that if you share your blessings, they keep coming back to you. Sometimes, it is more than what you give. But I learned something in giving or sharing. It is not always nice to give or share to everyone. It is important to share it to those who really in need or to good people. If you give or share it is because of debt of gratitude or a good heart. Being nice to everybody is right. But I tell you there are some people who pretend to be nice because they only need you or they want something from you. I encountered some people like that. But true friends always remind me that a good friendship is not base on money. It is not base on the status of life. It is not base on the physical looks. I am so glad I found some real friends both personally and virtually. I am so thankful for the good company and for great help. THANK YOU TO THOSE SUCH A REAL NICE PEOPLE. You know who you are. YOU ARE ONE OF THE BLESSINGS I HAVE.

I am not usually listens to music especially when I am doing something. I can't concentrate on what I do. But these past few days, I discovered myself listening to acoustic and love songs. Is it the sign that I am in love? Ha-ha. Oh, Oh. I am not in love! I just control or fool myself? But I have to admit it; I am in love to music now. I don’t know. The feeling is explainable. I am typing this post while listening to the music collection of someone. It reminds me of that someone. (Puked). That someone is so special. I missed to update this blog yesterday. I was somewhat lazy, disappointed, pissed and all the feeling like the whole world's against me. Everytime I feel like that, I just don't talk. I know you also feel like you don't deserve a poor service since you are paying it. You are the source of their income. On the other way round, you need them to be fair on their part. But how can you understand the situation or the problem if no one entertain or talk to you? Listening to the computer generated machine is annoying. I am talking about the poor service of a certain financial institution.
For the whole day I tried to contact them but no one picked up or answered the phone (both the landline and toll free). I already memorized the toll free number 1800 1888 2277. See? Try it and you will wait till Christmas comes. I also memorized the computer recorded voice: "All our customer service officers are engaged at the moment. Please hold and your call will be attended to as soon as an officer becomes available. Thank you." I was hold the whole day. I let the line opened the whole day.


I hope whatever your company's online problem will be fixed as soon as possible. Maybe next time we are already not available for your service. Thank you.

COLLEGE BESTFRIENDS' STORY

The reality show GIMIK was the hottest teen group on T.V. when I was in college. Because of that show, Renalie and I became best of friends. I called her DIET because she loved Diether Ocampo. We became the college bestfriends. I gave her a personalized bag with the cross-stitch named DIET on it. She gave me a friendship bond and I still keep it on my photo album.

We had fun during one of our college beach outings.

After college, we did not have time to be together again. She was kinda busy at work and so did I. Hopefully, we reunited for the first time in Trappist Monastery, Holy Week 2005 together with one of our college friends, Socsy.

We climbed up the mountain they call Balaan Bukid(Holy Mountain) in Guimaras Island the following day of our first friendship reunion.

We met again the following year. It was Summer 2006 @ SM City, Iloilo with some of our college friends.

The mug was her graduation gift for me. I am still using it in the office until now. The picture was taken December 2007.

This July 2008, we will reunite again. It will be a grand reunion! Because next week I will attend her special day. And I am so excited to see my college bestfriend walks down the aisle.

One time I talked about bed bugs in the office. Then one of my officemates interrupted and asked, “ what do bed bug bites look like?" We laughed at her. MY 1 YEAR AND ONE MONTH LATE HEADER

Last June 30, I celebrated my one year and one month blogsary. I supposed to change my header then but I got no time to create one. Although this header is already in my mind before. Usually, when we think or want to do things for ourselves, it never happen sometimes if we are too lazy or there is no willingness. I was so tired after cleaning my things in the office last friday and saturday. It made me too lazy to update my blog. I just kept reading other blog's posts but I did not comment because I was so really lazy. I was afraid I gonna ruin the post if I will comment. Hehehe. It will be a nonsense comment then.

Since it's rainy season, I just thought of this kind of header. The dog is not a white wolf but it's a felt paper dog. I really love paper crafts. I do cut-paste arts. The dog is relaxing on the balcony with a cup of coffee while watching the rain outside. All are created with different kinds of colored paper. I love collecting colored papers.

Anyways, congratulations to Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza, 22. She is the newly crowned Miss Universe 2008. She was once kidnapped in her homeland and that experience taught her to remain poised under pressure. During the Q & A portion, the question was interpreted to her but she answered it in English. This years top 5 are really stunning and the most beautiful among others. Mexico is the 4th runner up; Russia, the 3rd; Dominican Republic, the 2nd and the first runner up is Miss Colombia.

TRANSFORMATION (the special post)

I was sitting in front of the computer waiting the green and white opportunities to appear and at the same time thinking HOW TO MAKE A BLOG POSTS BOTH INFORMATIVE & ENTERTAINING. Suddenly, there was three webpages invitation popped on the computer screen- a movie review of A-HOLE HANCOCK, A BIRTHDAY INVITATION OF TRIZ and A KIDDIELAND TRIP OF KULETZ. The next command I read was: Please choose only one of the three. I did not know what to choose so I paused. And another webpage appeared. It read: " KAHIT KAILAN WALANG MALING DESISYON, NAGIGING MALI LAMANG ANG ISANG DESISYON KUNG HINDI ITO NAPANINDIGAN.”- Bob Ong. I felt so irritated and I turned the computer off. I switched my attention to television. I switched from one channel to another.

Channel 2: FLASH REPORT: “POLICE SNIFFER DOGS TO WEAR BOOTEES DURING HOUSE SEARCHES TO AVOID OFFENDING MUSLIMS IN BRITAIN.”

My reaction: “Huh?”

I switched to Channel 7. FEATURE ARTICLE: “BAGUIO WRITER BARES OUT HIS LATEST LITERARY OFFERINGS & MORE.”

My reaction: ‘Great!”

I switched to Studio 23: “WHAT’S THE USE OF THAT LOWER PART? THE PAGE WILL STILL WORK IF YOU REMOVE IT, RIGHT?”

My reaction: “Whatta remarkable line!” I thought I was watching the Q&A portion of Miss Universe 2008.

I switched to another Channel. Ch. 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 until I felt bored. So I went out and I noticed “BLOOZ” in the corner. A cool idea popped on my mind. I wanted to experience traveling with the bike. When I was on my way to the place called I-don’t-have-any-idea-where-to-go, I passed by a cute but sobbing guy. I heard him saying, “I HATE MAKATI AND I HATE MY WORK!” The second guy I passed by shouted me. He said, “CHOPOPO!” “It’s you”, I replied. Then he got mad at me and said, “I’m not a loser!” I apologized and told him that CHOPOPO in gay lingo means gwapo (handsome). ECHEBA(nothing). Then, I smiled to the three girls on the right side of the road. I knew them. They are EV, GLADZ and BES- the DREAMGIRLS… TRUE FRIENDS rather. I continued biking but I still don’t know where to go until I reached the dead end. That’s the time I stopped. Looking up the 300- steps concrete stairway, I felt sad. First, I have to leave “BLOOZ” and secondly, it’s hard for me to go up. A great idea popped on my mind again. I transformed into an eagle. In a wink of an eye, I became the goddess of the birds. I reached the top just about only 5 seconds (as if). What a nice view on the top of MT BAGARABON. To continue my journey, I had to transform into a unicorn, goddess of animals for it’s easy to roam around the place called the city of 7 lakes- SAN PABLO CITY. I reached the cliff and I saw one… one hundred twenty three islands- THE HUNDRED ISLANDS. I had to transform into a bird again. As I was about to land on the sea, I became a mermaid- the goddess of all fish. I thought I was in the hundred islands particularly in Governor’s Island but I realized I was in PHUKET. I did not mind but I have to take the chance. The next scene was swimming, swimming, swimming. I had fun but I realized I missed home. I missed the things I used to do, the people I used to be with. Then, I decided to go back home and give up being a DYOSA(Goddess). I transformed into a butterfly to hope to be home soon. To HOPE FOR THE FLOWERS for "LIFE IS CHANGE, NOT TAKE AWAY. To cut it short, from Thailand to Philippines is just a fly away.

“Hey, hey, hey (heypi birthday!). My wings, my wings!” It’s raining here. It’s flooding in the Philippines!”

I transformed into a WHITE HERON. I can’t see the road anymore. It was underwater. While walking (sexy walk) on the water, I saw two creatures. On the left of the road was THE CAT IN THE HAT on aging. And on the right was THE SMILING CAT. I can’t swim so I had to do the multi-motion- walking, jumping and low flying. But before I did, I realized, it’s already 1 am. Napagkamalang PLUMA made me really believe that writing early in the morning is so effective. TAENESS! I have to sleep and wait for the BEST PROJECT PROPOSAL post in the blogging world.
