FOR YOU (PARA SA'YO)

I went shopping yesterday afternoon. I was looking "patadjong" but I can't find one for sale. Maybe I need to go to Miag-ao for it is the home of weaving.

It is hard to make an art when you are not inspired or no idea in your mind. Here's the card I made for DARING CARDHOLDERS in theme of tartan.

This is for the typhoon "Ondoy" victims. I saw how Filipinos help each other through "bayanihan" system. The tartan twin pockets are symbols of two groups of people. One who needs help and the other who shares the help in any means. What happened to the people in Manila living spicifically in Pasig, Marikina, Cainta and other affected areas was happened to us here in Visayas when typhoon Frank hit the city last year. A thousand of Ilonggos have been killed caused of flooding and mudslides too. It's heartbreaking but heartwarming to see people helping each other- the poor and rich people, the government and private sectors. Life must go on and I know we will survive.

na-sad nga ako sa nangyari, nakaka-trauma nga but we filipinos are born survivors kaya madali makakaahon.

di pa ko naka-update, quick visit lang.

Love your card and the sentiment behind it. I also like how you showcase your card on the header each time. Thanks for sharing this with us.
