POSTCARD FRIENDSHIP FRIDAY- SUNSET AT TOWER BRIDGE LONDON

Thanks God, It's Friday! that what we usually here as the common line. I am always excited every Friday since I joined Postcard Friendship Friday. With it, I can share and see special postcard around the world!

The summer is about to end here in the Philippines. At least, I happened to watch sunset several times. I love it! I don't know but I am at peace every time I watch sunset. That's why I really love this beautiful sunset-at-Tower-Bridge-London postcard came from Kathryn. She drew her cat, Harrison on the back of the postcard.

Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, England over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London. Tower Bridge is sometimes mistakenly referred to as London Bridge, which is actually the next bridge upstream.

Great info. I would have probably called it London Bridge. Actually, I'm sure I would have.

It feels like summer has just started in Manila with tremendously 34°C. :) Although rainy season is coming, summer heat is still there.

Sunset brings peace to everyone.
I am not so familiar with the view. I really thought it was the London Bridge.

Apologies if this comment comes through twice.

I was just saying two things - one that by coincidence I have just received a card from London showing one of the other bridges, just this morning.

Second, explaining that London Bridge is the one that was demolished, then transported and reconstructed in Arizona. I have a card from Arizona showing it.

I used to take my sons up to London when they were young, with assorted visiting friends. Tower Bridge was always popular with it's fantastic view from the top.

Our summer is arriving. I can't wait for the sunsets.

Thanks for your great post. You made me a little curious about the drawing of Harrison the cat.

Hi Redlan-
Luv your blog, especially the photos you take of your town. It makes me miss the Philippines. I haven't been there in more than 25 years. Someday though I'll be back to bring my hubby and daughter so they can see where I was born. Looking forward to more of your photos!

What a beautiful postcard. I like the extra info you gave as well. I've never been to England, but it's on my list! :)

I live in a 5th floor condo and I just love the sunsets that we get to see from up here.

Who ever took that photo of the setting sun and the bridge got a fantastic picture.

I hope your fall is a nice one. It is late spring here. It is a beautiful day outside. I'm about to go out and mow the grass.
