TWO MAJOR FEAR FACTORS

Do you watch PINOY FEAR FACTOR?

Actually, there are two major factors that people fear.

  1. FEAR OF GETTING SICK- Minor aches and pains turn into scary, festering diseases, and your trouble falling asleep becomes cause for great alarm. The fear that can be generated simply by looking for something that’s wrong with you is, quite possibly, enough to actually make you sick. This happens because the more you focus on something; the faster your mind manifests that in your body. If you focus on health, your body will go in that direction, but focus on sickness, and that’s another story. When you are afraid of getting sick, you are holding in your mind thoughts of illness, anxiety, symptoms and disorders- everything that makes the fear seem more real and scarier to you. Any time you are afraid of something, including sickness, your mind is saying “I hope this does not happen to me.” Yet the mind does not translate words like not, never or don’t- it can only picture the actual event. It cannot picture it not happening. This is why letting go is so important. It is only when you let go of your fear of getting sick that you become free to feel healthy. So if you are afraid of getting sick or sicker, let go of the expectation or the desire for that happening and you will find that the tension melts away, out of your body and mind, and you can more easily allow your body to fulfill its natural healing process.

  1. FEAR OF DEATH- We all have to die someday. This fact strikes fear in the hearts of many. But some fear is both natural and acceptable, for it is a mechanism designed by nature to protect us from taking unnecessary risks. Yet in some people, the fear rises to the level where it becomes troubling and interferes with the enjoyment of life. And in a few cases, the fear is so overwhelming that it completely debilitates the victims, making their lives worse than death. Like for example, a man visited the doctor and said, “Doctor, you’ve got to help me; every time I bang my head against the wall, it hurts!” “So, stop banging your head against the wall”, said the doctor. When you focus on death, you’re banging your head against the wall. Stop it then. When you focus on death, you are ignoring life! To expect to live without the fear of death or injury is to expect to live the life of a coward. You were made for much greater things. Your goal should not be to live without fear of death but to live with such passion, determination, commitment, and self-discipline that you follow your dreams despite your fears. You were made to follow your dreams, not to run from your fears.

this is a post that brings out some very positive attitude. It's really on how you see things. It's in the person's perspective. I agree with your point in this post. A real strong man is someone who has fears yet faces it.

this is a very nice post redlan. some kind of positive attitude to start the week.

though hindi ako takot magkasakit or mamatay. mas takot akong makitang maysakit o mamatay ang kahit sino sa mga taong malapit sa aking puso.

Meron akong fear - mga insekto (lumilipad man o gumagapang) at daga. Pero kung getting sick at death ang pag uusapan, mas pipiliin kong mamatay na lang kesa maramdaman ko pa ang sakit habang nabubuhay pa ako. Painless death ika nga.

Tama ka @ Nance.

REDLAN said...

Haha @ JMA. Takot ka rin ba sa sarili mong shadow?

Thousands of people around the world suffer from Anxiety Disorders. It can affect everyday life and is capable of leading to a state of depression and more Anxiety attacks. In order to treat someone with an Anxiety Disorder you must know the etiology of the disorder. When the cause is known it becomes easier for the Doctor to prognosis different treatment options. The good news is that, nowadays there are a number of ways apart from the antidepressants drugs (in case you want to know more on this you can check out this link http://www.buy-xanax-online-now.com/).
