PAPER DOLLS

Paper dolls are figures cut out of paper with separate clothes usually held onto the dolls by folding tabs. I remembered when I was just a kid, I used to make paper clothes for paper dolls of my nieces (we're close in age).

Today, online and virtual paper dolls have a popular following, with users able to drag and drop images of clothes onto images of dolls. However, paper dolls are still being created today because it is inexpensive. And many artists are turning paper dolls into an art form

This week's challenge in MMM is paper dolls by the guest host Patty. I was challenged to create one. I cut out the image from a magazine and dressed her up with a special paper from my collection. I added the bead buttons and I cut her hair short too.
