Something BIG...

I am a big follower of ABS-CBN Kapamilya. When some of my personal friends ask me why, I always answer jokingly, Ang remote control ng T.V. ay sira at Channel 10 lang ang gumagana.” Although I was not able to watch the whole episode of the latest Pinoy Big Brother, I am still a big fan of the show. However, there were some episodes I did not like because of the same corny strategy applied. Nothing I can’t do because Big brother is always right.

The said reality show was reopened last March 23, 2008, Easter Sunday. It’s more than two months now and it will sadly end later tonight at the big dome as they will proclaim the big winner among the big four. I like Robi for being smart; Nicole for being sweet; Beauty for being frank; and Ejay for being innocent and true. Obviously, I like EJAY FALCON most. He is my personal choice and my Big bet to be a Big winner of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus.

EJAY FALCON is originally from Oriental Mindoro. He didn’t look like much of a native at first glance that’s because his mestizo looks come from his biological French father. Back in his hometown, Ejay traces his roots to a small community called Pola. It is also the birthplace of Vice-President Noli de Castro. As I quoted from the Pinoy Big brother mag, Ejay spent his childhood indulging in typical probinsyano pursuits: riding a bangka, diving in the seas, swimming in the river, climbing coconut trees, hiking with friends to a waterfall in the mountains, and lifting loads of rice and copra for a few pesos. Living in the Big Brother house, his formerly peaceful probinsiyano life has changed a lot. But those changes have definitely been for the better, like when he confessed to his foster father that he(Ejay) knew about it all along. That confession and the surprise revelation made their bond deeper and stronger as truly father and son. He was able to overcome his shyness and ka-torpehan as he tried to express his feelings to Valerie(his girl housemate. Ejay has a big transformation and a true PINOY indeed!

Joining Pinoy Big Brother will hopefully be the big start of a better life for him who had give up schooling because his family couldn’t afford it. Toni even revealed that prior to joining PBB, he didn’t know how to use a cell phone. Afterall, PBB is not a beauty contest and a quiz bee challenge but a reality show. Whether he ends up winning tonight or not, whether he gets that 1 million or not, Ejay has already gained something that money can’t buy- his memorable experience in PBB house and be an inspiration to the Filipinos especially the poor. That is to dream to be a big star is possible. With big hope to be a big star is a big dream comes true.

P.S. It’s my first time to support and vote in PBB because I want to help Ejay reach his dream. He inspired me because I also came from a poor family.

eejay...k lang...
feel ko it's between robi or eejay.

though beauty has a nice heart..hindi naman siya talaga for star quality...

kkung star factor lang...nikki siguro pero parang wala siyang sense as a teen na masasabi mo talagang kakaiba....yung mga advocacy or iba pang echos...puro lang love life...

mas okay sa akin yung 1st batch ng pbb teen..but i also love this batch...hindi lang okay ang pagpili sa iilan. pramiz

may the best man wins nalang

Si ejay nanalo. Ang galing ng fans niya, lamang na si robi, pero nung last votes na, ejay turned out to be the winner.

Sorry po kuya, robi po ako eh. Well I guess, ejay is much better compared to nikki (no offense po sa supporters ni nikki). Pero with regards to ejay as the big winner, in my own point of view (sorry po!) robi deserves it more. He was responsible inside the house, and he was a great leader, too.

As for Ejay becoming the big winner, poverty isn't the right reason why he was voted by people. What the show tries to inflict to its viewers is to support housemates whom they think epitomizes Filipinos as a whole. If Pinoy Big Brother was just about poor people becoming rich when they made it in Big four, then PBB could have been better titled as a charity show. This is just an opinion.

Sorry po kuya...

Wow @ Triz. Actually, ang big 4 deserving sila in thier own unique way. At may kanya-kanya tayong bet.

Nagtext ako for the first time hanggang sa malapit na ang closing time ng botohan kaya masaya ako. At least natupad ang pangarap niya. Huwag kang mag-alala kahit hindi naging big winner si robi, sisikat naman siya am sure.

Ang tagumpay ay nasa ating pagsisikap.

Nothing to sorry.

Nanalo na siya @ lawstude.

hehehe. tama. Anyways hindi lang naman iisang tao ang nagdedecide kung sino dapat ang big winner.

May reason kung bakit siya nanalo, at may reason din kung bakit hindi nanalo si robi as big winner. But hey, being one of the big four is good enough!
