PRESIDENT ARROYO HAD BREAST IMPLANT

Philippines' Press Secretary downplayed rumors that President Arroyo had checked in the hospital to have her breast silicone implants removed and replaced. But according to a spokesperson of the president, Mrs. Arroyo had breast augmentation 20 years ago and denied reports that the implants were leaking. The reason for her confinement at the Asian Hospital was to undergo quarantine after returning from countries with known H1N1 cases. Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said whoever is coming out with rumors over the cause of Arroyo's confinement had been unfair to the leader.

A breast implant is a prosthesis used to alter the size and shape of a woman's breasts. It is commonly known as breast augmentation, breast enlargement, mammoplasty enlargement, augmentation mammoplasty or boob job. Having breast implant is not always for the purpose of physical improvement. Breast implants are used primarily for primary reconstruction or to replace breast tissue that has been removed due to cancer or trauma or that has failed to develop properly due to a severe breast abnormality such as the tuberous breast deformity. It is also for revision-reconstruction or revision surgery to correct or improve the result of an original breast reconstruction surgery. It is sometimes for the revision-augmentation or revision surgery to correct or improve the original breast augmentation surgery. There's a large study of nearly 25,000 Canadian women with implants recently reported a 43 percent lower rate of breast cancer compared with the general population and a lower-than-average risk of developing of any kind.

If she had breast implant that's her business. And it's not for the media to expose to the public anymore.

Are you saying that if I were to have breast implants it would lower my chance of breast cancer?
That sounds absurd.....I need to read this study. :-)
And does it say anything about scar tissue hindering the finding of cancer lumps?
As for politicians getting breast augmentations......as long as it's on their own time and paid for with their own money. :-)
Interesting post....

Have a beautiful day

These folks have really gone overboard. I mean, no matter what things they accuse her of, she's STILL the PRESIDENT. We should respect the PRESIDENT.

It's her own business. Wala nang pakialamanan. Ang o-OA ng media.
